5 Wool Entryway Mats: Custom Overlocking for a Forest Glen Home

We recently completed a great project for a customer in Forest Glen, Sunshine Coast, demonstrating the ultimate way to utilise quality carpet remnants/offcuts. Instead of letting valuable carpet go to waste, they brought us their large, beautiful wool carpet offcut from a recent installation.
The goal? To create five identical, durable entryway mats to protect their floors in high-traffic areas.
We carefully cut the large offcut piece into five separate custom mats, each finished to the exact dimensions of 1.4m x 0.6m to suit the customer's needs. Each piece then received our professional carpet overlocking on the edging. This process seals the raw edges, adding longevity, preventing fraying, and giving the wool carpet a clean, custom-finished look that matches the main installation perfectly.
