1. Our Services
Carpet Overlock King and Carpet Overlocking Sunshine Coast provide professional carpet overlocking services for carpet mats, rugs, runners and custom carpet projects through Overlocking.com.au.
All services are subject to assessment, availability and acceptance.
2. Online Estimate & Quote Tool
Our website includes an online estimate and quote tool designed to assist customers with obtaining pricing information.
The tool may provide:

Instant estimates for eligible doormats and small mats.

Personalised quote requests for larger mats, rugs, runners and custom projects.
Instant estimates are provided as a guide only and do not constitute a final quotation.
Final pricing is confirmed after we review your submitted measurements, project details, photographs (where provided) and any additional service requirements.
Submitting a quote request does not create a booking or contract for services.
3. Customer Measurements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements when using our online estimate and quote tool.
Incorrect measurements may affect pricing and may require a revised quotation.
If you are unsure of your measurements, please contact us before proceeding.
4. Cutting, Shapes & Finishing
Where carpet is supplied pre-cut, we will check the edges and overall shape before overlocking. If edges are uneven or the piece is out of square, trimming or straightening may be required to achieve a suitable finished result. This may result in a reduction to the original dimensions.
If a customer requests that a pre-cut piece be overlocked as supplied without straightening or adjustment, the finished shape, straightness, squareness and dimensions will reflect the piece as supplied.
Slightly rounded corners are our standard finish to help achieve a neat, continuous overlocked stitch unless otherwise discussed and agreed prior to work commencing. Square corners, cut-outs, internal corners, notches or other non-standard shapes may require additional work, may incur additional charges, or may not be suitable for our overlocking process.
Quotes and bookings are based on the measurements, photographs and information provided by the customer. If an item presented for work differs materially from the information provided when quoted or booked, we reserve the right to revise the quotation, discuss alternative finishing options, or decline the work.
5. Pricing
Pricing varies depending on factors including:

Additional options requested
All overlocking services are subject to a minimum charge of $70.
Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
6. Final Quotes
All submitted quote requests are reviewed before acceptance.
Where required, we may contact you to obtain additional information or photographs before confirming your quotation.
Final pricing may differ from the online estimate where:

measurements differ;

additional work is required;

carpet condition affects the service;

or the submitted information is incomplete or inaccurate.
7. Carpet Suitability
While we take great care in assessing each project, not every carpet or mat is suitable for overlocking.
We reserve the right to decline work where we believe the carpet, backing or condition is unsuitable for the requested service.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring:

measurements are accurate;

photographs fairly represent the project where requested;

carpet supplied belongs to them or they have authority to request the work;

any special requirements are disclosed before work commences.
9. Bookings
Submitting an online quote request does not guarantee a booking.
Bookings are confirmed only after we have accepted the project and arranged a suitable drop-off or collection time where applicable.
10. Payment
Payment terms will be advised when your quotation is confirmed.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required in accordance with the terms provided at the time of booking.
11. Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable care in providing our services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Overlocking.com.au shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website, the online estimate tool or the services provided.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
