Alexandra Headland Transformation: From Off-cuts to Custom Mats

After a new carpet installation, what do you do with the leftover off-cuts? A clever customer in Alexandra Headland found the perfect solution! Instead of letting the extra pieces go to waste, they came to us at Carpet Overlock King with a great idea to create a set of custom mats.
The project was to take their leftover carpet and transform it into a collection of useful pieces for their home. Our team took the wool carpet off-cuts and meticulously cut them to four different sizes: a large 2.4m x 1.2m mat, a second at 2m x 0.6m, and two smaller ones, each measuring 1.2m x 0.6m.
With the sizes precisely cut, we then gave each mat a professional finish with our signature overlocking. This essential process, also known as carpet edging, provides a clean, durable border that prevents fraying and ensures each piece will stand up to daily use.
