Buderim Carpet Offcuts: Transformed into a Custom Rug, Mats & Coasters

We love helping Sunshine Coast homeowners find smart solutions! Our recent project for a Buderim customer is the perfect example of how to maximise value and reduce waste after a new carpet installation.
At Carpet Overlock King, we took the customer's carpet offcuts and crafted them into a complete custom collection, ensuring every piece was perfectly sized for their unique spaces and met the customer's specifications.
The collection included:
Rug: 2.05m x 1.5m
Mats: Two at 1.3m x 0.6m and one at 1.0m x 0.8m.
Custom Coasters: Thirteen 10cm diameter circles (used for floor protection under furniture).
We cut the pieces to size from their offcuts and overlocked / edged each piece giving them a durable, polished finish.
