Crafting a Custom Rug and Mat Set: Our Latest Caloundra Project

Finding a rug and mat set that perfectly matches your home’s aesthetic and size can be a challenge. That’s why at Carpet Overlock King, we love creating custom solutions for our Sunshine Coast clients. We recently helped a customer in Caloundra bring their vision to life with a beautifully tailored set.
The project involved creating a full suite of pieces from their carpet: a large 2.6m x 2.6m rug, two 1.3m x 1m mats, and two 1.6m x 1.6m mats. To start, we we straightened the edges and cut each piece to the dimensions required.
Once the rug and mats were sized, we applied our expert carpet overlocking to all the edges. This essential process, also known as carpet edging, provides a strong, clean border that perfectly frames each piece, giving it a professional finish that will last for years to come.
The result was a stunning, cohesive set that was not only functional but also perfectly designed for the Caloundra home. This is a great example of how our custom services can transform your vision into a perfect, professional piece that truly completes your space.
