Custom Runner & Mats for a Maroochydore Home

We recently completed an overlocking project for a client in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast, who wanted to create a custom set of mats from their leftover carpet offcuts to place in high traffic areas of their home.
The customer required a long runner and two smaller mats. Our team cut each piece from the available offcuts at the sizes of:
A runner at 3m x 0.53m
A mat at 1.8m x 0.39m
A mat at 0.8m x 0.39m
Once the cutting was complete, it was time for the final touch. We selected a grey merino wool for the edging, providing a clean, polished border that complemented the carpet. The overlocking (also known as carpet edging) not only gives each piece a professional finish but also ensures it is durable and protected from fraying for years to come.
As a bonus, the customer also had a small leftover offcut piece. To ensure it didn't go to waste, we overlocked the edges and turned it into an extra bonus mat! This is just one of the ways we help our clients get the most value from their materials.
