Custom Runners & Doormat for a Coolum Beach Home

We recently had the pleasure of helping a homeowner in beautiful Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast enhance and protect their new flooring with a set of custom-crafted pieces. They had a carpet offcut and envisioned two stylish runners and a practical doormat, all perfectly tailored to their specific needs.

Our client provided us with their offcut, and we got to work bringing their vision to life. We carefully cut the carpet to the requested sizes, resulting in a runner measuring 2.2m x 0.55m, another at 2.2m x 0.50m, and a welcoming doormat sized at 1.05m x 0.75m.

To provide a touch of luxury and a seamless finish, we used a beautiful Merino wool edging that was an absolute perfect colour match to their carpet. This not only ensures durability and prevents fraying but also elevates the aesthetic appeal of each piece. The runners were planned to be used in their ktichen and beside the island bench, adding warmth and protecting the new flooring in high-traffic areas. The custom-sized doormat offers a stylish and practical solution for catching dirt and debris at the entrance.
